Grow your niche marketing sales

5 often ignored ways to easily grow your sales (that you can start today)

  • Your Takeaway – 5 easy steps that will help grow your sales this year.

Sometimes it's the common-sense things that make life easier.

You probably already have the niche marketing tools at hand – why not use them?

As a smart marketer, unless you're dumber than a rusted barbell, you already have key critical marketing tools embedded within your site already (such as autoresponders, feedburner, google analytics, and the like).

But are you using them above and beyond what 99.4% of the other niche marketers are?

Let's find out.  Here are 5 often ignored ways to grow your sales (and help boost your bottom line profits as well).

1.)  Run your own free sub-niche eclass

Sure, you might focus on selling construction items niche for DIY individuals.  That might encompass power tools, construction safety, steel-toed workboots and the like.

Why not use your autoresponder (you DO have one, correct?  Anyone serious about niche marketing needs an autoresponder; aWeber is one choice) to offer a free sub-niche eclass on common DIY bathroom plumbing problems (sub-niche to plumbing sub-niche which is sub-niche to DIY) or on how to change the car oil at home (subniche to car-maintenance sub-niche which is sub-niche to DIY)?

The benefits to this are legion – you start to build a specially targeted list on people interested in bathroom plumbing (which means you can set up a weekly followup autoresponder that offers not only tips on bathroom plumbing but also your affiliate links to contractor services, Amazon plumbing products and the like.

2.)  Offer a "how to buy niche XYZ for cheap" white paper

People want to save money.

That's a given.

So…if they're not yet ready to buy, give them something for free – a report on how to buy Harley Davidson jackets for less than retail or how to reduce one's grocery bills by the month.  And of course, include your affiliate links as well in your suggestions.

Benefits here – again, you're building up a targeted niche list, one you can send weekly emails too with other tricks and tips.

3.)  Enable people to receive customized email of posts (not just RSS feeds)

You use Feedburner already to help people receive your blog posts, correct?

Well then, set the title of the email received to be the actual blog posts itself.  It's very easy to do – log onto your Feedburner account and choose

Publicize > Email Subscriptions > Email Branding

Set it to ${latestItemTitle} if you want the blog post title to be the title of the email.

This will draw the recipients' eye more than if you just had a 'Blog Update'.  More attention – more interest.  More interest – more possibilities for future sales.

4.)  Offer an incentive for people to join your Facebook Fan Page

Facebook

You do have a business fan page of course, correct?  Ours is at

Marketing Steele Niche Marketing Revolution

Did you know you can customize your fan page by offering content ONLY fans can access?

Click on the 'Niche Tools' tab and you'll see what I mean.  I learned this technique from Set Up A Custom Landing Page on your Face Book Fan Page.

The more people who join your Facebook fan page, the more reach you'll have to promote the benefits you offer your niche customers.

5.)  Offer discounts for other products within your current product

This is something so easy, I'm surprised more niche marketers  don't take advantage of it.

At the end of your niche infoproduct, add an Appendix that offers a special link discount for your other products.  After all, this is a valued customer and you have already proved your worth; give them yet another reason to spend their money with you.  Everyone loves getting a bargain; why not take advantage of that?
